CAN/AM Hockey – Local Goalies Needed
Attention all Goalies!!
CAN/AM Hockey Group is looking for Goalies to participate in our player programs for our summer camp at Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY. Our “Local Goalie” program gives goalies the opportunity to participate as day campers (we can accommodate residents if needed) at our premier summer hockey camp. If you choose to join us for this unique program, you will see many shots, get lots of ice time, and have a chance to be part of the best hockey camp in North America.
We are looking for goalies from age 8 to 17 depending on the program. We limit the number of goalies at each age group, making sure that your participation means a lot of work in the net. To be considered for this exclusive program, goalies that wish to participate must be able to attend every ice session during the week. Every goalie will be on the ice for 16 hours starting on Sunday afternoon through Saturday morning during any given week.
The cost for this program is $100 per week for a day camper. This cost includes daily activities from the first ice session until the end of the second ice session. Your fee also includes a CAN/AM Hockey jersey and one meal daily during the week when the camper is with us during a mealtime. A typical day at camp will last 7-8 hours, starting any time from 8am to 10am, depending on the age group. Trained counselors supervise each group throughout the day. Off ice activities include Fitness testing, Techniques & Tactics and Team Building exercises.
Goalies can upgrade to a Super Day camper for an additional $225.00. Our Super Day program allows goalies to participate in all camp activities from breakfast to bedtime. You will enjoy a complete day of camp except for sleeping over. You can sign up for this option on-site at registration once you received your daily schedule or online during the registration process after we confirm your child’s enrollment. If you do need to be a sleep over resident camper that would be an additional $650.
